When it comes to children, parents in this modern era are more conscious of what kind of content their kids are exposed to. It’s very difficult to be restrictive while trying to give them the best in every aspect. Many parents want their kids to have a reading habit and they are ready to spend their time reading stories or rhymes to their children.
Most times when the kids start reading, it is always about a superhero who saves the day or a fantasy book or short story. They don’t usually experiment with a wide variety of books right from a young age. But it would be a good change if they also got to know about real-life heroes. This could totally impact their minds and inspire them to make bold choices in life.
As per a study by psychologists, children many times prefer non-fiction over fantasy. It is confusing, right? This is natural because even non-fiction tells a story, a real story. And all that kids enjoy is a good, interesting story with beautiful visuals for sure.
