TV dramas have a special place in everyone’s heart. From childhood to adults, you have a special favourite for which you are crazy to watch at any cost. Today, when OTT platforms have eased your entertainment and just a click gives you abundant options still, TV dramas have their own charm. Let’s check out a few reasons why you love a particular TV drama.
Your family watches it daily like a ritual
TV is an essential part of every house. The family has something special to watch together or at different times. Children have cartoons and ladies in the house love to watch dramas. News is another most listed channel in households. You may not be a part of this schedule but even criticizing in the background involves you equally. As a daily routine, the TV starts and fills the air with the same iconic theme song that you laugh at daily but still murmur along.
TV dramas accompany you daily
They follow a schedule when they will be aired. This keeps you hooked. You also plan your day accordingly and keep yourself free in that slot. You look forward to the excitement within and once again the child inside you is alive. Think of the times you are away and have to re-schedule everything just to watch your TV drama again.
Screen size matters
They come on the big screen, that’s TV. For a long time now, we are used to watching things on mobiles or computers that are small. Obviously, things look good on the big screen and the TV will always be bigger in size than your laptops/desktops. So why not enjoy the story on a larger screen?
The family comes together
It’s the TV that brings everyone to the living room and you watch it all together. Even if you don’t watch, you sit together to eat or talk to other people. Somewhere in between, you start watching it along. TV is on during the 3 meals of the day. In fact, lunch and dinner times are altered on the basis of your favourite shows.
Ideas for your wardrobe
No matter whatever the story is running on the TV, it will always catch eyeballs for the costumes and jewellery the characters are wearing. You will give suggestions on whether the complexion of the lead character carries the right kind of makeup or not. Good or bad, you take ideas from their wardrobe and add them to yours.
Reasons could be infinite but what remains a fact is that TV dramas will stay in the hearts of their viewers always irrespective of the era you are in.
