Scrolling through OTT platforms until the snacks are over and you fall asleep is no fun. We think you might need a little help picking your next watch.
All you’ve got to do is take this quiz and the OTT Oracle will tell you what to watch next. Okay?
Let’s go!
You’re driving through a road with abandoned buildings and overgrown weeds. What comes to your mind?
a. Spooky thoughts. Could there be ghosts? Perhaps the buildings are built over graveyards. That could explain the white presence I am 100% sure I saw through that grimy window.
b. Oh, those brambles look exactly like the ones growing on the walls of Sleeping Beauty’s castle. And towering against that vast sky. Oblivious to the bugs and dust How gorgeous. Wait. Maybe Sleeping Beauty is inside.
c. Ugh, such a waste. This space could be turned into something useful. Let me Google and find out what this used to be.
How would you picture an ideal rainy afternoon?
a. Time to take out my Ouija board or maybe try treasure hunting in the rain. You know, then I can use my shovel and walk through the rain to scare my neighbour.
b. Gaze at the rain while I sit on my bay window. I feel like a Wordsworth poem.
c. Well, since I can’t go out to run my errands, I’ll just have to spend time rescheduling and get some work done, provided the Wi-fi lets me.
Would you rather…
a. Find yourself in the middle of an alien invasion with only a phaser gun for protection
b. Have all the fantasy characters ever known (good and bad ones) come alive
c. Let me be. Everything’s got to be normal and realistic for me, thanks and regards.
Where would you like to hang out for a day?
a. I’d say The Warren Occult Museum to meet Annabelle. (They say it’s closed due to zoning violation, but I know it’s because Annabelle is up to something)
b. One of those Gothic castles with rose beds and the scent of flowers hanging in the air. Perfect for the best Instagram click too. Who knows, I might spot future bae too!
c. Some historical monuments with a tour guide to fill me in. That way I’ll have all my facts right.
How do you prepare for a binge-watching night?
a. Turn off all the lights and ensure Surround Sound is on to set the ambience for back-to-back slasher movies. Maybe throw in my Ghoul mask too, to blend in, you know.
b. Snuggle up with hot chocolate, dim lighting, scented candles and er.. a box of tissues. C’mon, how can your eyes not get moist after watching rom-coms like Notting Hill.
c. No much fuss. I like the lights on while I watch. I may keep a notebook handy to take notes.
Which of the following settings makes you curious and curiouser?
a. There’s a mysterious looking box in the centre of an otherwise empty room. A ghostly lullaby is heard in the distance, maybe coming from the walls. You have no choice but to open the box…
b. It’s a balmy evening and sunlight filters through the tall glass painted windows of the library. You stroll by the shelves, just taking in the beauty, wondering what to read. The door opens and someone walks in. You get a whiff of cologne and turn around…
c. You recently read some news on some new findings in Space. Is it a new planet? A dwarf planet? You really want to gather all the info you can find on this!
