Each one of us has phases of ups and downs. There are days when we do not feel like working towards our goals may be due to some failures, disappointments, or other reasons. Motivation can come from any place, person, or thing. But it is easy to make a source of encouragement for ourselves. One such source can be a Vision Board.
Vision board is a tool to manifest positive vibes. It is a unique display of images or other graphics showcasing goals as well as targets. It can be highly motivating and even helps in getting back on track when we are distracted or feeling dejected. Sometimes in the absence of a clear vision of our tasks, it becomes difficult to work in the right direction and achieve the objective. Also, it is tedious to gather the necessary support, resources, and courage for the same.
They might appear fancy and difficult to design on the contrary, it is quite easy to make if the right method is adopted.
Here are easy steps to make a brilliant vision board
Making a vision board for manifestation
Since a vision board is for your eyes only, you can keep it simple and easy or make it fancier and colourful- based on what appeals to you.
Material
To make a vision board that can be hung you will need stationery like a pencil, cardboard, scissors, etc. The most important ingredient or material for its development is goals. A vision board can only help if we have a clear objective or task in mind. Prepare a list of things you want to achieve. It could be anything: hobbies, interests, well-being, investment plans, etc.
Drawing inspiration for vision board
The goals that you have set will need relatable words and vocabulary that are in tandem with your thought process. You can easily find the right words in journals, social media posts, magazines, etc. Think like a content creator. You can find motivating words on stickers, colours, quotes, phrases written on vehicles, flora, fauna, postcards, and even people.
Construction of your vision board
The fun part begins here. Take cardboard with conducive dimensions (prefer – A3: 11*17), however bigger size is always better. Start laying out the clippings, images, and quotes in whichever manner you like. Once you find the most appealing design, paste the clippings to complete this step. Give a final touch with decorative material and finally put it in the place where you will see it often.
Road mapping with vision board
Once the board is finished you need to put it in a place where you see it multiple times in a day. It could be your office space, a bedroom, or even a sweet spot in your home. You can also add it as a screensaver or wallpaper on your phone or laptop if you choose to make a digital vision board.
After securing it at a place, it is time to motivate yourself each day and work towards your goals. Use your Vision board as a guide and mentor on your road to success. Keep updating as you move ahead in life. Maintaining a diary is also a great way to keep track of your objectives.
A vision board is a great advisor, teacher, and instrument for your path to achieving great heights. Making it will definitely help you define your goals better and motivate you to get your life plan in action!
