When a man is under the control of senses, He is of the world. When he has controlled the senses the world is of him.
Swami Vivekananda
Human beings are emotional creatures. We are directed by our senses of touch, smell, taste, sight and speech.
Our inner and outer environment is made up of the mastery of these senses. Few among us become slaves of the senses and few master the senses to lead their life physically and emotionally fit.
Balancing the senses for self-awakening is the goal of every individual and it’s possible only through controlling the temptation of our taste buds, equalising the pleasure of binge-watching and so much extra effort by mind and body for a holistic life.
The Technique to master the senses
The action of the human mind and body complement each other. When one is strong, the other automatically becomes fit.
In order, to have a balanced state of mind, unshaken by the distractions and desires of the world, Gurus and Experts have chosen Yoga as a Path of Calmness for physical, mental and spiritual well-being.
Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self.
