CauseAChatter has been an opportunity for all at Blogchatter to speak up on causes that matter. This November we decided to step up a little and introduce “CauseAChatter Projects”, an opportunity for people to curate a full fledged social cause campaign. Moving from curating three pieces of content for each quarter, CauseAChatter Projects involved identifying a cause, setting a simple goal, planning a content calendar and most importantly learning to track the impact of the entire campaign.
The activity was off to a good start with CauseAChatter participants conducting surveys, collaborating with fellow bloggers, inviting guests for an expert opinion on live sessions, and using social media to its best.
Among the entries we got, let us introduce you to the winners of CauseAChatter Projects- A Step Ahead.
Choosing a mindful approach towards the environment
Meenal and Sonal Mathur have chosen Environmental Talks as one of the main categories of their blog. Writing awareness posts and the journey of environmentalism has been their goal and they’ve also been sharing reviews on products that are good for environment. Via CauseAChatter Projects Meenal and Sonal have interviewed figures such as Peepal Baba – Founder of Give Me Trees Foundation, Anshu Sharma – Founder of Toysrep, Amita – Founder of Bharati Reuse Studio and Pinky Maheshwari – Founder of Surprise Someone. Through such sessions they have gained insights and also documented important points on their blog for their reader’s reference.
Community plays an important role when it comes to taking initiative towards a cause and they plan to continue spreading awareness about the little things each one of us can do to make the environment a better place.
Being responsible bloggers we shall continue to bring awareness of the projects that are doing good for the environment and how little changes around us can reap a better future.

A vision to spread awareness and reduce stigma around midlife crisis
Ruchi Verma talked about a topic that has a lot of challenges- midlife crisis. She began with a survey and social media poll to understand her audience and their thoughts better. Such activities give a direction to the conversation and helps us understand the way forward. A live session with Dr Pragya Mishra, certified in Positive Psychiatry and Mental Health helped clear doubts and misconceptions around midlife crisis, how different it is from depression and more.
Overall, her efforts helped reduce the stigma around the topic, and enable more people to open up and seek help when needed.
Don’t make midlife crisis a crisis, but convert it as a chance to change and make a difference in your life.
Ruchi Verma
Final thoughts
The aim of CauseAChatter Projects was to give structure and define goals better for any cause that we choose. Keeping track of our own efforts help us redefine our vision, hone our skills and strengthen our voices.
Kudos to all our champions who have been a part of CauseAChatter and continue to do so!
