We all come across the posts saying AI will replace writers. It makes us fear if writers’ requirements will come to an end? Will writers’ careers reach an end point?
Let’s discuss if AI has the power to replace the writer…
AI doesn’t have emotions like human beings
AI can write the content, but it will fail to provide emotional connect. AI collates content from various sources to curate a piece. It focusses on facts and can’t write how a person feels and thinks.
For example, how does a person feel about not getting the job? How does a person feel after failing?
Loss of creativity
AI will generate the content based on the information given on Google. It can’t write creative content. When content is written in creative form, people enjoy reading it.
It isn’t good for SEO
According to Google Search Advocate John Mueller, generating content with AI is bad for SEO. Also, AI is considered under automated-generated content, which leads to manual penalties.
Muller said Google could not detect the AI-written content, but if they found out, they would take action against it. So, it will be better to write content on our own. In the long run, using AI does not provide benefits to you.
There are many other reasons why AI content is bad for SEO.
- It will generate content in a minute but not be able to provide quality content.
- It will not be SEO optimized, as it will not have proper H1, H2, and other formatting.
- The content will not be original, as many people will use AI for writing.
- They can’t understand the target audience and provide you with content. They will provide you with content per your instruction which may be right or wrong.
It simply amounts to plagiarism
The content which AI writes is based on available information. When they rephrase the sentence and words, content is not considered original.
To stand out in front of competitors the content should be unique; otherwise, you will be considered a copycat.
It is concluded that AI can’t replace writers as the content will not be original. Additionally, it won’t be good for SEO and not have creativity and emotion in it.
AI content might be a rave for some time, but nothing can replace the authenticity of the human mind and power of creativity.

Is the Use of AI Ethical? - BeStorified
13 Jan 2023[…] Before moving forward it’s important for us to keep in mind that how much ever our writing is improved through these AI tools, there will always be a lack of human touch somewhere. It might be easy to write an article regarding technical stuff, but when human emotions are involved, there will always be a lag in communication. […]
