On becoming a social entrepreneur: A CauseAChatter Journey

Since its inception, CauseAChatter has seen a wonderful journey for a few years. Our community has come up with multiple ways to showcase their passion for causes and leave an impact on the world. CauseAChatter over time has been a space for people to feel heard, learn, and grow into more empathetic people.
This year we are back with a scale up, which means moving from advocating for causes to defining blogging with a purpose even more as we enter the path of social entrepreneurship.
1% more awesome everyday
This year, CauseAChatter’s theme is to contribute just 1% towards being more awesome daily and at large impacting the world to become a little better too. Our community began by talking about the little things they do that make them happy. From working out to practicing mindfulness, to executing perfect trips, little achievements definitely contribute to greater joys.
Making the Power of Tiny Gains a functional journey
The Power of Tiny Gains is a continuous every day and yearlong journey we plan to take with you. Team Blogchatter has already begun documenting little conscious acts they do every day towards a cause they care about. The community has begun mapping their CauseAChatter goals too.
Of the activities planned for CauseAChatter this year, two of our main highlights are our partnership with Rang De and an anonymous podcast called Dear Diary.
What is Rang De about?
Rang De is an organization that lets people take their involvement in social causes a step up by investing in change.
It is also one that is pioneering in the field of social entrepreneurship in India by taking the initiative to invest in unbanked individuals and promote financial inclusion. Our community gets the chance to invest in causes they can choose from Rang De’s impact stories, be a part of their growth and scale up their social involvement- something that was asked for the most by you in 2022!
Dear Diary, tell the world my story…
Dear Diary is simply an anonymous way for you to share your stories and get to hear them on a podcast. Diary entries let us enter an emotional territory and perceive the world in a very different, intensive way. You can talk about your day, share a CauseAChatter kinda story (check CauseAChatter stories here), share a random incident or a more personal one, talk about things you find it hard to share where everyone knows you, and so on.
Dear Diary is just an extended Blogchatter friend who would safeguard your thoughts, whilst giving them the voice they truly deserve.
Sometimes we find it hard to share our thoughts being ‘us’. Our community agrees that an anonymous voice during these times serve as an anchor and a platform to vent and just be ourselves.
With that our chat came to an end, with curious minds waiting to dive in and ace CauseAChatter like they always do!
