Ever wondered what being human means? It is more than just being born as one. Being human is a wild adventure filled with laughter, tears, and a whole lot of love. So, buckle up and enjoy the ride. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience that’s uniquely yours.
But we must acknowledge the fact that being human isn’t always rainbows and unicorns. We face challenges, heartbreaks, and days when we’d rather hide under the covers. But amidst the chaos, there’s an undeniable beauty in the human spirit. We’re resilient beings, capable of bouncing back, finding hope, and turning even the darkest moments into stories of triumph.
The Integral part of being Human
Let’s acknowledge that being human means embracing imperfection. We make mistakes, stumble over our words, and occasionally trip over our own two feet. But hey, that’s part of the charm, right? It’s in those messy moments that we learn, grow, and find the courage to laugh at ourselves. After all, who needs a perfect life when you can have a perfectly imperfect one?
Now comes the power of our emotions. Being human means riding an emotional rollercoaster with no seatbelts. We experience joy, love, anger, sadness, and everything in between. Sometimes it feels like we’re trapped in an emotional tornado, but those ups and downs shape us into who we are. So let those tears flow, wear your heart on your sleeve, and remember that feeling deeply is what makes us human.
The Unprecedented Oddball
If we dare say, being human has become tough for the younger generation. Life has a funny way of throwing curveballs at us. It’s like a never-ending game of dodgeball where obstacles and challenges come flying at us from all directions. Being a member of Gen Z just adds up to it. They are bombarded with images of perfect lives, flawless selfies, and curated highlight reels on social media. It’s like a never-ending competition for who can have the most glamorous existence. But here’s the truth: social media is just a highlight reel, not the whole story.
The pressure to fit in, to conform to society’s standards, can be overwhelming at times to the point where some decide to quit. But nothing sudden or anything just slowly taking baby steps every day. This trend is called Quiet Quitting.
Just as the seasons change before you realize it is going to be autumn soon, your outlook with the life changes and you start withdrawing yourself from all the joys of simple living. You no longer have the fire in you to go above and beyond or even an extra mile to fight for what you want. This is because you have burned out so quickly than you have realized and that feeling makes you want to quit everything that once was an important part of your life and just shift to a quiet life to settle.
This is a seriously sad state that some Gen Z’s are trying to overcome. It all happens to many people, you know those moments when we feel overwhelmed, exhausted, and ready to throw in the towel. But it’s precisely in those moments when the magic should happen. It’s when people summon their inner resilience, take a deep breath, and declare, “Not today, quitting! Not today!”
Being human is more than just merely being alive
Being human also means craving connection. We’re social creatures, wired to seek companionship, understanding, and a good old heart-to-heart conversation. Whether it’s over a cup of coffee with a friend or sharing funny memes online, we thrive on those genuine connections that make us feel seen, heard, and a little less alone in this big, crazy world.
Authenticity is a key ingredient in this human recipe. Being true to ourselves, embracing our quirks, and letting our freak flags fly high is what it’s all about. We don’t have to fit into society’s neat little boxes or conform to unrealistic expectations. Talk about social pressure in addition to personal expectations on oneself. Let’s be honest, its overwhelming to the core.
But unfortunately, young people these days are getting caught in the comparison game, measuring their self-worth based on likes, followers, and the number of virtual hearts they receive. Finding our own voice amidst the noise can feel like a daunting task. We’re bombarded with opinions, ideologies, and conflicting messages from every direction. But here’s the secret: it’s okay to take a step back, to question, and to forge our own path. After all, we are just humans.
More than anything let’s try to celebrate life one step at a time and embrace our humanity. Let’s cherish the messy, imperfect, and wonderfully unpredictable ride we’re on.
