What is it with long eyelashes that make them sooo attractive!
“Beauty is in the eye of the beholder” True! Today, when the idea of beauty is shifting and people are becoming more inclusive, everyone has a different view on the same. A person may think that long hair suits them but some may not have the same thought. Some people might love having curly hair while some might not feel the same. But most people do agree upon one thing, having long, full lashes are definitely attractive.
WISHING UPON A FALLEN EYELASH
What would be the first thing you do if you saw a fallen lash stuck on your face? Would you just brush it off or would you make a wish out of it? Though, it goes without saying that most people do fall under the latter category. If so, then that is the inner child within you that has preserved all your childhood innocence. Awee… cute right? Irrespective of whether these wishes come true or not, it gives the same effect as wishing upon a shooting star. So, don’t ponder on the authenticity of the act, just go with it. They are as true as you want them to be.
WOMEN AND LASHES
Eyelashes, there is absolutely nothing extraordinary about them. All animals have this feature. They are used to protect the eyes from dust and other small things that may infect the eyes. But over a period of time, they became more of a beauty element than a survival feature. Thus, making people with thin eyelashes envy persons with long lashes. Especially women. Now whether they wear makeup on a regular basis or not most of them own an eyelash extension or at least a mascara. And it is almost fascinating how just one beauty product can make such a huge difference in appearance. So, if anyone can have those whippy, long eyelashes within seconds then, why not?
BREAKING THE MYTH
No one knows where it all started but all of us have heard that once an eyelash falls out, they never grow back. It is totally ridiculous, right? Of course, they grow back unless your skin and hair follicle is too damaged and beyond repair. Even though there might be varied reasons why they fall out, mostly it is because of the growth cycle. Don’t fret, the regrowth process can take up to 16 weeks.
Now, few people might think, what is so great about eyelashes? So, here is the thing, eyelashes are the most attractive part of your face that has the ability to make or break your appearance. Though it is subjective, everyone from celebrities to common people loves flaunting those thick, voluminous lashes. Having lengthy, thick, and dark eyelashes defines your eyes, making them one of the most beautiful features of your face.
SO, WHY ARE LONG EYELASHES IN MEN ATTRACTIVE?
If you pay attention, you could easily notice that most attractive men have long, whippy eyelashes. Heck, having a pair of long lashes adds a feminine look to anyone and anything including men. But still, why do thick lashes on men look so darn attractive? This is as true as agreeing with the fact that Johnny Depp is the most handsome man ever (period).
The reason is so simple. As we all know eyes are the most expressive part of our face. It is true that it has a magical power to attract and sometimes even mesmerize people. So, having long lashes draws attention to a man’s thick eyebrows making their eyes look bigger and more beautiful when in reality men do have smaller eyes. Talk about hypnotizing eyes! And the truth is that it has nothing to do with a person’s gender. Men simply have more body hair than women hence those dreamy long lashes.
The bottom line is if you want to have voluminous lashes then avoid using products that might break your lashes regularly and maintain a healthy diet. Remember, you are beautiful just the way you are. Eyelashes are not just some decorative things they protect your eyes. So, take good care of them.
