When Breathe Becomes Air
Paul Kalinithi, a renowned neurosurgeon and neuroscientist has written this memoir after he was diagnosed with lung cancer. It is a journey through life, the choices he made between literature, human biology, and philosophy, the difference between a job and a calling, and how he was always intrigued with the meaning of life since his teenage years. It is a inspirational read, which doesn't preaches. It is not out and out optimistic, but it is like a light amidst acceptance of the inevitable end.
