Hello! Season 5 of #MyFriendAlexa is officially under process now - woot woot! Well after all the secrecy of why we shifted it from September to October, now you know - new year, new look, same old us :D

And here we are to give you the lowdown on the hows, whys and wherefores of #MyFriendAlexa.

What is Alexa ranking?

Alexa ranking is a measure of your website’s popularity. Millions of websites are ranked by the Alexa ranking system using their own proprietary method which includes visitors and engagement with your site over a period of time. The less your Alexa number is, the more popular your website/blog is. The most popular being No.1 and so on down the ranks.

Why should you care about #MyFriendAlexa?

With #MyFriendAlexa, the Blogchatter team has a unique plan to get your Alexa ranking up. With a bit of effort on your side, your website/blog can rank a lot higher. Follow the best practices we will be guiding you through and your Google ranking could also go higher. More footfalls, more traffic, more engagement could mean that your blog will take off.

How do you get a better Alexa rank?

  • Post a lot of great content

  • Read a lot of great content

Terms & Conditions:

  • You will write 8 blog posts over a one month period, starting October 1, 2020. This is a mandatory requirement.

  • You will keep up with the reading expected of you and take actions like comments and sharing as required.

  • You will join the FB group exclusive to the Alexa campaign where all Chats, Discussions, and Lives exclusive to My Friend Alexa will take place.

  • You will join the WhatsApp group created to help you along the campaign.

  • You agree to the sharing of your blog posts by Blogchatter community as required and related to the My Friend Alexa Campaign Season 5.
